  1. Vikings- Scandinavian people of far northern Europe.
  2. Ginnungagap- A dark void.
  3. Nifleheim- Land of ice and fog.
  4. Muspellheim- Land of fire.
  5. Yggdrasil-The world ash tree.
  6. Asgard- Homes of gods.
  7. Midgard- Land of men.
  8. Hel- Land of the dead.
  9. Bifrost Bridge- The divine bridge that links the gods to the humans.
  10. Ymir- A fierce, wild, and evil giant.
  11. Odin- The god of gods and the storm.
  12. Frigg- The goddess of love, destiny, and marriage. Wife of Odin.
  13. The Valkyries- The hero selectors.
  14. The Norns- The Maidens of Fate.
  15. Thor- The god of thunder, battle, and fertility. Odin's warrior son.
  16. Balder- The god of radiance, rebirth, justice, and light. Son of Odin and Frigg.
  17. Njord- The god of wind and sea. The patron of sailors.
  18. Frey- The god of fertility, prosperity, sun, and rain. Brother to Freya.
  19. Freya- The goddess of fertility, love, beauty, magic, war, and death. Sister to Frey.
  20. Idunn- The goddess of youth. Protector of the golden apples.
  21. Loki- The half giant, half god is the trickster of the gods.
  22. Fenrir- A giant wolf. Son of Loki.
